Are you up for a challenge? Join the Tallest Sunflower Growing competition 2021 - open to all ages, whether you have green fingers or not. Sign up at https://lovefalmouthvolunteers.volunteermakers.org/get-involved/hour-or-two/sunflower-growing-competition/84 and receive your sunflower seedling with full growing instructions. Each week chart the growth of your flowers by measuring them and completing the growing log as you watch them flourish. You’ll be invited to join the closed Facebook group, where you can upload pictures of your plants, ask for advice and see how other people’s sunflowers are growing. Families are invited to take part in our Easter Art Trail during the Easter Holidays. From Tuesday 6 - Monday 19 April there will be 5x Easter themed artworks hidden in Kimberley Park. Your challenge is to find them, remember/write down what's in each picture and then go and tell the staff at Falmouth Library what you have found. Little Story Seekers is a story, song and movement session for very young children and their parents and carers that normally takes place at The Writer's Block in Redruth. Fal Culture's annual BENOW festival has gone virtual for 2021 with a month long programme of events for all to enjoy. BENOW, a Cornish adjective meaning female/feminine, is a festival of events, ideas, art, community and activism to explore and celebrate the culture of women. All welcome. As part of BENOW, Fal Culture's annual festival celebrating the culture of women, we are launching a 30 day art challenge called #InHerShoes.
